FEARON builds furniture that behaves like art and holds up like furniture. Every piece is cut, shaped and finished in aluminium, then sent out to be sat on, stacked with things and lived around. Nothing here is precious. It is just built to last a very long time.
Design and manufacture
Every piece starts with Jack Fearon. He designs and prototypes each one himself, working the material by hand until the proportions feel right. Some ideas come together in a week. Others sit in the corner of the factory for a year before they earn their place.
From there it all happens under one roof in our Melbourne factory. We work almost entirely in aluminium because it is light, easy to sculpt and completely recyclable. Nothing gets sent offshore. The people who design it are the people who make it.
